How do you stay personally accountable?
It starts with the definition: Being responsible for;
that’s the literal definition in the dictionary.
The best way I stay accountable to myself, I use a calendar. I
use something called scheduleonce.
Being self-employed, I don’t have a boss. I don’t have
someone who will peer over my shoulder to make sure I’m doing what
I’m supposed to be doing.
I don’t have someone checking to make sure I’m hitting my
deadlines and making my goals.
If I am going to be successful in anything I do, especially
having a successful family, business, and a financially fulfilling
life, I have to take personal responsibility for myself.
It starts with managing my time.
The best way to do this is to put it on a calendar.
If it’s not on the calendar, it doesn’t get my attention, and it
sure as hell does not get done.
If you want to be more productive with measurable results, you
have to take responsibility for your time.
When you can measure the number of things you’re doing on a
daily, weekly, and monthly basis, the more productive you’ll
be.
And that’s when you truly have something you can account
for!
